Flickering chandeliers, mysterious portraits, hitchhiking ghosts, Madame Leota, and a color palette filled with smoky purples and eerie blues made the ColourPop x Disney Haunted Mansion makeup collection almost impossible to mistake for an ordinary beauty launch.

Originally released in 2023, the limited-edition collection combined ColourPop formulas with imagery inspired by Disney’s Haunted Mansion. The result included a 15-pan eyeshadow palette, jewel-toned Super Shock Shadows, matte liquid lip colors, a color-changing gloss, and even a glow-in-the-dark glitter gel.

The original collection is no longer available directly from ColourPop, but individual pieces occasionally appear through Amazon and other third-party sellers. If you’re searching for one of these discontinued products, availability and prices can change considerably.

Here’s a closer look at what was included in the ColourPop Haunted Mansion collection—and which pieces are worth watching for.

ColorPop

👻 Welcome Foolish Mortals Eyeshadow Palette

The centerpiece of the collection was the Welcome Foolish Mortals Eyeshadow Palette, a 15-pan palette built around muted neutrals, spectral grays, purples, blues, and a few brighter supernatural-looking shades.

The palette included multiple finishes, including mattes, metallics, sparkle mattes, shimmers, and glittering shades. Rather than creating a straightforward black-and-orange Halloween palette, ColourPop leaned into the moody atmosphere of the Haunted Mansion itself.

Shade names included The Bride, Endless Hallway, Ghost Host, Portrait Chamber, Séance Circle, The Attic, Psychic Medium, Hitchhikers, Have a Stretch, Corridor of Doors, Grand Ballroom, New Orleans, Ballroom Ghosts, Graveyard Stroll, and Hatbox.

That combination made the palette surprisingly versatile. There were enough understated shades for smoky everyday looks, while the blues, purples, metallics, and deeper tones could create something much more theatrical for Halloween.

The packaging was also a major part of its appeal. Haunted Mansion references appeared throughout the design, making the palette as much a collectible as a makeup product.

🔮 Eerie Estate Super Shock Shadows

ColourPop also created four Haunted Mansion versions of its popular Super Shock Shadow.

The collection included Creepin’, a cool silvery-blue shade; Eyeing You, a rich teal-blue; Frightful, a deep blackened plum with blue-toned shimmer; and Stare Down, a vivid purple with pinkish sparkle.

These were among the more dramatic pieces in the collection and arguably captured the Haunted Mansion color palette even better than the larger palette.

The shadows were originally available individually as well as together in the Eerie Estate Super Shock Shadow Set.

Super Shock Shadows have ColourPop’s distinctive soft crème-to-powder texture rather than the texture of an ordinary pressed powder shadow. That makes discontinued Super Shocks a little different from collecting an old powder palette: if you find one several years after its original release, pay particular attention to whether it is unopened and how it has been stored.

💋 Haunted Mansion Ultra Matte Lips

Three Ultra Matte Lip shades gave the collection a darker, autumn-ready lip wardrobe.

Beware was a warm pinky nude and the easiest of the three to incorporate into an everyday look. Summoned Spirits went deeper with a brownish-red tone, while Hitch a Ride embraced the spooky theme with a dark plum shade.

Together, the colors moved from subtle to dramatic without relying on novelty shades that would be difficult to wear outside Halloween.

The trio was also released as a lip set, making it one of the more collectible parts of the collaboration.

Because these are liquid lip products from a discontinued collection, buying old stock requires more caution than buying a collectible compact or unused powder palette. Look for sealed products from established sellers and avoid used cosmetics.

🪦 Graveyard Shift Color-Changing Gloss

One of the quirkiest products in the collection was Graveyard Shift Ultra Glossy Lip.

The gloss appeared as a smoky purple color in its packaging but was designed as a pH-reactive formula that developed into a customized pink shade when worn.

It was a clever fit for a Haunted Mansion collaboration: something mysterious-looking in the tube that transformed once applied.

The color-changing element also distinguished Graveyard Shift from the three matte lip shades, making it particularly appealing to collectors interested in the more unusual products from the launch.

Again, because this is an older liquid cosmetic, condition matters more than collectibility if you intend to actually wear it.

🔵 Creepin’ Super Shock Shadow

If you’re hunting for individual Super Shock Shadows rather than the complete set, Creepin’ is one of the most distinctive.

It was created as a silvery, icy blue with an aqua shift, giving it the sort of ghostly reflective effect that works especially well with the Haunted Mansion theme.

It can function as a sparkling lid color or add a cold flash over deeper shadows.

🔷 Eyeing You Super Shock Shadow

Eyeing You took the collection into much richer territory with a striking teal-blue base and bright turquoise sparkle.

Among the four Super Shock shades, this is one of the easiest to imagine forming the centerpiece of a dramatic Halloween eye look.

Paired with smoky gray or black shadow, it creates a distinctly haunted effect without requiring complicated special-effects makeup.

🍇 Frightful Super Shock Shadow

Frightful delivered the darker side of the collection.

Its deep plum base and cooler blue-toned pearl created a multidimensional shade that could work across the entire lid or as part of a smoky purple look.

The combination also makes it one of the collection’s more wearable spooky shades. You don’t need a Halloween costume to make deep plum eyeshadow work in October—or at almost any other time of year.

💜 Stare Down Super Shock Shadow

Stare Down completed the quartet with a brighter grape-purple shade accented by warmer pink sparkle.

It was colorful without becoming fluorescent, making it a nice compromise for anyone who likes purple eyeshadow but doesn’t necessarily want a full theatrical makeup look.

Combined with Frightful, it could create a dimensional purple smoky eye; paired with the muted shades in the Welcome Foolish Mortals palette, it provided a much brighter focal point.

🔮 Madame Leota Glitterally Obsessed Glitter Gel

Perhaps the most wonderfully unnecessary—and therefore perfectly Halloween—product in the collection was the Madame Leota Glitterally Obsessed Body Glitter Gel.

The sparkling gel was inspired by one of the Haunted Mansion’s most recognizable supernatural characters and featured holographic sparkle with a glow-in-the-dark effect.

It wasn’t designed to be the practical staple of anyone’s everyday makeup bag. That was precisely the point.

For Halloween parties, costumes, festivals, or collectors who loved the elaborate Haunted Mansion packaging, it was one of the collection’s most memorable releases.

Since this is a discontinued gel cosmetic, check its age and condition especially carefully if you’re buying it to use rather than display.

🕯️ The Full ColourPop x Haunted Mansion Collection

The original complete collection gathered the eyeshadow palette, Super Shock Shadows, lip products, and glitter into one Haunted Mansion-themed set.

Finding the complete collection years after release is naturally more difficult than finding an individual palette. Listings can also vary, so read the description instead of assuming that every listing described as a “Haunted Mansion collection” contains every original product.

For a collector, though, an unopened complete set is the ultimate version of this collaboration.

🛍️ Can You Still Buy the ColourPop Haunted Mansion Collection?

ColourPop’s official Haunted Mansion collection page remains online, but the collection currently contains no products. The collaboration should therefore be treated as discontinued rather than part of ColourPop’s active range.

That doesn’t mean every piece has vanished.

Limited-edition beauty products often continue circulating through marketplaces long after the original release. Amazon may have listings from third-party sellers, and collectors may encounter unopened products elsewhere.

Availability can appear and disappear quickly, particularly for individual shades.

⚠️ Be Careful When Buying Discontinued Makeup

Collecting discontinued makeup is different from collecting a figurine or vintage Halloween decoration because cosmetics are products you may eventually put on your skin, eyes, or lips.

Check whether the item is described as new and unopened, examine seller feedback, look carefully at photographs, and make sure the listing actually matches the product you want.

Be particularly cautious with old liquid lip products, cream shadows, glosses, and gels. Formulas can change with age or poor storage.

If a product arrives with an unusual odor, separated texture, obvious contamination, damaged seal, or anything else that makes you question its condition, don’t use it simply because the item has become difficult to find.

Collectors interested mainly in the packaging may have different priorities, but makeup intended for use should always be treated as makeup first and memorabilia second.

👁️ Is the Welcome Foolish Mortals Palette Still Worth Finding?

Of all the products in the collaboration, the Welcome Foolish Mortals palette is probably the easiest piece to appreciate several years after its release.

The gray, taupe, plum, blue, and metallic color story isn’t tied exclusively to Halloween. It can produce soft cool-toned looks, smoky evening makeup, and more theatrical Haunted Mansion-inspired combinations.

Independent reviews at the time also generally found the palette’s pigmentation and blendability comparable to other ColourPop releases.

The elaborate Haunted Mansion packaging adds the collector appeal, but the shades themselves are useful enough that the palette doesn’t have to spend its life sitting unopened on a shelf.

🦇 An Easy Haunted Mansion Makeup Look

You don’t need the complete collection to create a look inspired by it.

Start with a soft gray, taupe, or muted mauve shadow through the crease, then deepen the outer corner with charcoal or plum. Add icy silver, teal, blue, or purple shimmer across the lid.

A little dark liner creates more definition without overwhelming the reflective shades.

Finish with a muted nude lip for a more wearable look or a deep berry or plum shade for full spooky-season drama.

The goal doesn’t have to be costume makeup. The Haunted Mansion aesthetic works particularly well as moody fall beauty: cool shadows, jewel-toned shimmer, soft gothic color, and just enough sparkle to suggest something supernatural.

🏚️ Why the Collection Still Stands Out

Beauty collaborations come and go quickly, and ColourPop has produced plenty of Disney collections over the years. The Haunted Mansion collaboration remains particularly memorable because the source material translated naturally into cosmetics.

The attraction and film already had a visual world filled with dusty rooms, spectral blues, dramatic purples, tarnished metallics, candlelight, strange portraits, and supernatural characters.

ColourPop didn’t have to force a beauty color story onto it.

The Welcome Foolish Mortals palette captured the gloomy neutrals and ghostly accent colors, the Super Shock Shadows supplied supernatural sparkle, the lip colors added rich autumn tones, and the Madame Leota glitter provided exactly the sort of ridiculous Halloween flourish the collection needed.

Years after its original release, it’s now as much a piece of Disney beauty memorabilia as it is a makeup collection.

And for Haunted Mansion fans who missed it the first time around, those happy haunts occasionally still turn up where you least expect them.
