Coastal Rainforest Meets Mid-Century in the Edgemont Greenbelt Home

This single family home was designed with to welcome in the sunlit treetops of the North Vancouver, Canada coast, and made with clean lines and decorative touches in line with the mid-century feel that the owners love. Edgemont Greenbelt’s architecture is by Shelter Design and Blackfish Homes, offering generous views of the coastal rainforest surrounding the home, and with colorful, classic 1950’s accents in the interior design by Sophie Burke.

Edgemont Greenbelt is one of the Newmarket Modern homes by Shelter Design and built by Blackfish Homes. Blackfish was named after an indigenous term for the Orca, a sea creature that values communication and has close ties to family, meant to signify the ideal home. Sophie Burke designed the interior of the home with soft, natural colors, focusing on pink highlights, and lines that stretch seamlessly into the outdoor spaces.
