Twine

Cut 4 pieces 5” long.  Cut 1 piece 9” long, if you want to hang your ornament.

Line up middle piece (first row) on top of bottom piece (last row) leaving a small gap. Bring pieces of twine from back to front of bottom last row, and then front to back on middle piece. Turn over, be sure to leave a gap, and knot. Trim ends.

Repeat for middle and top pieces.

Card

Cut a piece of scrapbook paper to fit the front of the card and adhere with double-sided tabs.

If you want the tree to be an ornament, glue on small button at top center of card. Attach the top loop of the twine on tree to the button.

If you prefer, you can glue the tree and the star to the card.

Write “Merry Christmas” on piece of bark and adhere to card.
