A couple weeks ago I was able to snag the Too Faced Peanut Butter and Honey Palette. I had been eyeing it for a while and when I noticed it was on sale for 50% off, I had to snatch it up right away. I’ve been using the palette off and on for a few weeks now and enjoying some of the colors quite nicely. I think heading into the Autumn season this will be a great palette to go with the browns, oranges, dark pinks and yellows in my wardrobe.
The limited edition palette consists of matte, shimmer and creamy shades of warm neutrals, amber pearls and honey velvets. It has a nice cocoa scent that this light and sweet. One of my favorite things about Too Faced (and Tarte products as well) is the sweet, light scents they add to their collections. It makes makeup more lighthearted and fun, which I believe translates into a prettier completed look!
So far I have found the palette to be highly pigmented and have a nice payoff. I’m really enjoying both the matte and shimmer shades! I have been adventurous enough to try “honey buns” the obvious yellow shade; however, I’m having a lot of fun with the different shades of pink and shimmer pink/brown shades.
One of my favorite things about Too Faced palettes is they include a handy instruction book for simple looks. This is great for a makeup newbie like me!
