Easy Homemade Peanut Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup smooth peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1-2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1/4 cup warm water (adjust for desired consistency)

Instructions:

  1. Combine Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together the peanut butter, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and honey until smooth.
  2. Add Flavorings: Stir in the minced garlic, grated ginger, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Adjust Consistency: Gradually add warm water, stirring continuously until you reach your desired consistency. The sauce should be creamy but pourable.
  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste your sauce and adjust the flavors as needed—more honey for sweetness, soy sauce for saltiness, or red pepper for heat.
  5. Serve or Store: Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.

Enjoy this versatile sauce with spring rolls, salads, grilled meat, or noodles to elevate your meals with rich, nutty flavors!
