My husband and I did a quick Yelp search for some family fun on a hot sunny Southern California day and discovered Glowzone LA as our next playfilled destination. It was too hot to go to the playground and we had already gone to DryTown Waterpark, so the kiddie area of Glowzone LA was a perfect fit.
The Softcity part of Glowzone LA is made specifically for kids 7 and under. To be honest the indoor play areas we have at home in Portland, Oregon don’t have nearly as much pizzazz as this joint does. From the animal-themed soft carousels to the curly orange and yellow slide – this felt like a hamster maze turned up to 11.
Coraline had never experienced a ball pool before and was ecstatic for the curly slide into the plethora of colored balls. Of course she had to bring her baby Fifi with her for all the fun!
The purple slide at Soft City was super fast, so of course Coraline couldn’t get enough of it and went down it approximately one million times. For only $10 she had hours of unlimited fun.
We we tried this little racetrack a few times but Coraline didn’t seem into riding a balance bike. If there were more kids around she might have enjoyed it more; however, on the Monday afternoon we visited there was only one other child there.
Glowzone LA is so much more than just Soft City! They offer lots of attractions for older kids and adults as well such as: LA Underground Laser Tag, Skyscraper Ropes Course, Scale the City Rock Wall, 405 Bumper Cars (if you’ve ever lived in LA, this is so tongue and cheek), Glow Mini Golf and City Vault Laser Maze. Next time you’re in Woodland Hills, CA check out the fun at Glowzone LA.
